As a Junior Environment Artist at Creative Assembly Sofia, I was tasked with dressing various settlements throughout the game.
Some of the maps I worked on include Shedyt, Emar, Ra-ked and Dungul Oasis.
During this process, I received a basic outline of the tile along with logic by the Level Design team. I would then open up Gaea to polish the terrain height and generate the general look and feel of textures. Finally, I'd dress the settlement and surrounding landscapes with a combination of prefabs, lone assets, decals, VFX and texture brushes.
